Hats off to the Survivors!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: The words that make you check your calendar (“When was the last time I was in for an exam?”) and square your shoulders against the reality of breast cancer. According to information from the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month Collaborating Organizations http://www.nbcam.org, about 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point during her life. After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common kind of cancer in women. The good news? Many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early.

This October, Margaret Matson Fine Jewelry is proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Talk to a doctor about your risk for breast cancer, especially if a close family member has had breast or ovarian cancer. Your doctor can help you decide when and how often to get mammograms.

For those we love, those we’ve lost and those we want more than anything to heal, we support this month of awareness. See the special Breast Cancer Awareness area of our website for more information: https://www.matsonjewelry.com/jewelry/breast-cancer-awareness/!
